Mary Lloyd
Senior Account Representative
Since joining DUQ in March 1988, Mary Lloyd has served as Development Director, Acting General Manager, Underwriting Sales Representative and Senior Account Representative. As Senior Account Representative, Mary is responsible for maintaining a list of underwriting accounts, identifying and cultivating new underwriting prospects from the local business community and supervising DUQ's underwriting sales staff.
Professional highlights at DUQ include researching and implementing DUQ's first computerized membership system, and developing and initiating "The Pittsburgh/Cleveland Challenge" campaign, which won the 1990 Public Radio Award for best individual membership campaign. She also organized and implemented "NPR EXPOSURE" - a photography exhibit of National Public Radio personalities which was displayed at One Mellon Bank Center, and a series of local lectures by photographer Murray Bognovitz.
Prior to joining DUQ, Mary worked at DDF&M Advertising as Assistant Media Buyer and at WQED-TV. While at WQED, Mary was involved in on-air fundraising activities, recruiting and training volunteers.
Mary earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Edinboro University. She resides in O'Hara Township with her husband and two daughters.
